This week, our featured team members are Rohan Johal, Media Accreditation Officer at Sheffield United and Abbey Rogers, Human Resource Manager at HE Barnes.

Rohan Johal

Job Title: Media Accreditation Officer?

Length of Time in post: 2 years and 5 months?

Brief description of role: Working in a team of four within the Sheffield United media department, my role involves the management of match-day media accreditation and operations. I also assist in the facilitation of media requests for players and supporting the organisation of press conferences prior to each first team fixture.?

Hobbies/Interests: Away from work, my interests are focused around keeping active, this involves playing football regularly and going to the gym. On weekends where Sheffield United do not have a fixture, I enjoy going out for a sociable drink.

Abbey Rogers

Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Football Team: The Mighty Blades

Length of Time in post: 8 years

Brief description of role: I head up the Human Resources Function for the HEB Group of Companies (H E Barnes and Solutions 4 Cleaning), ensuring that our staff are well looked after and our companies are working in line with best practice, current employment legislation and policies & procedures. Alongside Health & Safety, I am also responsible for our accreditations and compliance.

?Hobbies/Interests: Travel, playing bass for a local Sheffield band and paddle boarding.
