d. Collaborative Articles on LinkedIn?– you may have noticed in your Notifications List that someone in your network has contributed to a ‘Collaborative Article.’ These are Articles that have been generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) which Microsoft is using in LinkedIn, the Bing search engine (I like playing around there) and Microsoft software.
Here is a link to a Collaborative Article on using emotion to persuade an audience?https://www.dhirubhai.net/advice/3/how-do-you-use-emotion-persuade-your-audience.
If you would like to contribute to a Collaborative Article, you will need to request access by liking or reacting to the Collaborative Article. You can also Rate the Article. Here’s a sample of what is on the bottom of a Collaborative Article.
To find Collaborative Articles, you can search for skill-related keywords on LinkedIn and select the relevant Skills Page. You’ll find Collaborative Articles under the Posts section of the Skill Page. You can also find them in your feed and notifications when people in your network make contributions or when a new Collaboratve Article is published to the Skills Pages you follow. LinkedIn have put out a FAQ page at?https://www.dhirubhai.net/help/linkedin/answer/a1443723?and here is the official announcement?https://news.linkedin.com/2023/march/collaborative-articles
What do I recommend at this point??Well, if you have been invited to contribute to a Collaborative Article by LinkedIn (as an early adopter), congratulations! As it is a new feature, it is likely to be promoted more often than regular Articles and if you don’t want to initiate a conversation, you can join one created by AI. That said, I wouldn’t make an effort to do more than one a week as we all have a life to live and there are only so many hours in a day!

6. Musing
Technology. I have been active in the online world since 2001. I have seen a lot of change and the rate of change is increasing exponentially. This means that the time we spend keeping ourselves up to date must increase. It also means that if we don’t maintain relationships with people, we could be ‘out-of-business’ because technology can certainly do many things quicker and cheaper than us with the right prompts or programming. Let’s remember to be human throughout this transition and remain ethical and respectful of everyone in our community.
Enjoy the rest of your day and cheers for now, Sue?
