Successfull first testruns on Hoekse Lijn extension (Metro aan Zee / Hoek van Holland Strand)

Today, the first successfull testruns with metro's were conducted on the Hoekse Lijn extension (2,5 km stretch to Hoek van Holland Strand) by RET and Alstom. The dynamic behavior of track occupancy, ATP-code, level crossing and traffic light activation was checked on train interlocking and traffic management in parallel to customer checks. A big thanks to the Alstom teams for specification, design, network, software (Katowice site), testing, installation and commissioning. Also RET and MaZ thanks for the great collaboration and trust.
