Web Marketing today has become such a HUGE subject that includes so many different things it can be a bit overwhelming for many business owners who simply want to understand how to do better on the web.

By "do better" they generally would like more business of course, more phone calls and more chances to show potential customers what makes their product or service a good choice.

Unfortunately many businesses make poor decisions when investing in the web and because of negative experiences they can sour on the opportunities for real success that are there. Don't get roped into a YP, Yext, Wix, DEX, Supermedia, GoLocal, ReachLocal, Yodel or any of the other schemes that promise big returns and deliver nothing to undereducated business people that are convinced by their slick sales people that they are going to help deliver new business. It seems like we get at least 5 calls or emails per day from solicitors promising to get our website or local listing to the top of Google! Such a shame that they are all just pretenders out to scam the business that has not done their homework.
