Successful Sunday 3.3.2024

Hello, Subscribers. My weekly writings will help you prepare for the week and set yourself up for success. I glean insights from various intuitive tools about behaviors and patterns and can help you do the same.? Let’s get set up for success.? You can support my work by joining my Patreon:? https://www.patreon.com/ThingsToThinkAbout

?It’s time for an accountability check-in.? Last week, I did not fall into “woe is me” mode.? Instead, I reflected on my part and paused before responding.? I have also reduced the amount of pessimistic and cynical language I use.? I successfully went live every day for the entire month of February.? My biggest takeaway was to show up for yourself.

Let us get ready for the week ahead.? I am featuring Black Tarot:? An Ancestral Awakening by Nyasha William this week.? ?I took a vacation from my phone and went on a long walk this morning.? The inspiration I received was to unsubscribe from noise.? If you are subscribed to this blog and it does not add value, you have my permission to unsubscribe.? I would appreciate the courtesy of feedback so that I can improve.? This week, we will be presented with many choices.? It is hard to say no due to the fear of missing out.? After spending nearly a week during my medical leave clearing out my email, it is once again filled with spam because I have not been diligent in unsubscribing.? Where is the spam in your life?? What could you be doing with your energy instead of deleting, fleeing, or being aware of the obligations piling up?? Today, you can reflect on the week prior and make decisions for the week ahead.

TLC sang about friendship:? “What about your friends? Will they stand their ground?? Will they let you down?? Are they gonna be low down?? Will they ever be around?? Or will they turn their backs on you?”? Even if you have friends who will ride or die for you, you still need quiet time to reflect.? I often reach out to others when I need to sit with myself.? These are generally the times they are unavailable, which reinforces that it is something I need to sort out myself.? Distraction is a tool to disassociate from my feelings.? As you plan for the upcoming week, will you build in intentional reflection time as well as intentional friendship time? ?In the spirit of unsubscribing, consider relationships that have come to the end of their season.? What is your next move?

Our energy is finite, though our dreams are infinite.? Have you been biting off more than you can chew?? Reflect on what is important to you to help you pare down the distractions.? What gets you closer or further away from your goals?? For example, my one thing for today was to write this blog.? Going on a long walk supported this target because it helped me connect with my intuition and provided inspiration.? Watching a K-Drama delayed my goal and resulted in you getting this week’s edition later in the day than I have posted in the past.? I also have a rare day with nothing planned, so I rest.? Being well-rested increases my stamina to explore more extended topics.? What nourishes you and helps you to renew?? How will you incorporate that into the week ahead??

I have fallen away from my practice of disconnecting for thirty minutes after work.? Personally, it is easy for me to be quiet during walks. ?This morning, I walked to the park and sat on a bench for a spell.? The activity helped me release enough energy to allow myself to sit still.? There are potential risks to being alone with your thoughts.? For some of you, please consider enlisting the help of a therapist or counselor to provide you with the tools to be able to do it on your own eventually.? Exploring solitude does not have to be serious.? You don’t need to be a reclusive hermit and find a mountain.? Pay attention to your strengths and perceived weaknesses and learn how to harness both.? You can practice right now and ask your intuition to provide some ideas.? Journal, draw, or make a voice note to process the answers.

We do not live in a perfect world; if you are waiting for the perfect moment, you will be disappointed.? As you plan for the week ahead, be sure to serve yourself a heaping spoonful of grace.? Rest, reflection, and renewal are new muscles for you to build.? Take it slowly.? Perhaps tonight, begin with a short five minutes of reflection.? What do you want next week to be?? Where have you been successful?? Where do you want to improve?? Or simply, what went well?? What will I do differently tomorrow?? Remember, you have all the tools and everything you need to be resourceful.? I am holding myself accountable.? I do morning pages already, so I will also begin evening pages.? Every no is a yes to you.? Are you ready?? Let’s do this.? Namaste.

Ready to get unstuck? Start your adventure and book a call. ?
