Self-deprecation. That’s the ability to laugh at yourself and tell stories in ways that make you human and imperfect. The Contemporary Christian format could use a little more of this.

Tripped and fell up the stairs. Talk about it.

Accidentally burped during prayer at church. Tell that story.

Embarrassed yourself by mispronouncing a word. Laugh about it.
