Successful implementation: Mega Alimentos

In 2022, Mega Alimentos began implementing the DDMRP methodology in its complex supply chain with the aim of optimizing its operation and achieving significant results.
Some of the challenges were:
- Development of tools to improve communication with suppliers;
- Controlled replenishments due to expiration date restrictions;
- Short supply horizon;
With the implementation of DDMRP, we achieved the following results:
? Increase in service level by 18% reflected in OTIF.
? Significant reduction in days of inventory coverage in purchasing, manufacturing, and distribution.
? Decoupling of the supply chain with reduction in variability and disruptions in demand and supply, among others.
