Successful General Assembly for R2D2 on January 2024

The General Assembly of the R2D2 project, coordinated by @ETRA I+D, took place in Ljubljana (Slovenia) on January 17th-18th, hosted by @Elektro Ljubljana.?

During the meeting, the consortium was able to work on and present the progress of the four products being developed to help grid operators improve the security and resilience of the physical and digital infrastructures serving the electricity system. ???????

R2D2 presented our tools dedicated to the prevention, protection and restoration of power systems in regional coordination between TSOs to the low-voltage customers.???????

R2D2?has complementary solutions synthesised into four Products:??

?C3PO - Multi-risk assessment framework for power systems, aiming to contribute to a systematic, disciplined, and repeatable approach for evaluating an energy system security strategy. This will benefit the system operators.?

IRIS - Resilience suite for TSO & DSO, which intervenes when coordination between system operators is needed for security reasons. This will benefit the system operators and Regional Security and Coordination Centres, impacting final users, VPP and energy communities.?

PRECOG - Prevention Systems For Energy Infrastructures Security aims to provide a cybersecurity framework for Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT). This will benefit System Operators, IT consultants, electric industries and manufacturers.?

EMMA - Enhanced Assets Maintenance And Management Toolkit, looking to contribute to the physical assets’ reliability and expedite a faster grid recovery. This will benefit system operators, contractors, electric industries, and manufacturers.??
