Leaders in Architectural Cladding, GRC, and BIPV Solutions for Developers and Architects across Australia.
In 2022, ML System reached a pivotal milestone by successfully passing fire resistance testing for their BIPV modules. When integrated with fire-resistant glass in an aluminium skylight construction, these modules met stringent standards at an accredited institute. This certification now permits ML System’s fire resistant glazing units, which incorporate translucent photovoltaic glass with advanced quantum coatings and silicon cells, to be utilised in REI30 fireproof skylights.
This advancement enhances the safety and adaptability of BIPV systems, enabling their installation in more diverse construction applications. These skylights not only deliver exceptional energy efficiency but also meet critical fire safety standards. Designed with precision, the modules accommodate essential cable routing between panes without affecting water drainage, ensuring the system remains both functional and resilient.
