Successful consumer-centric models in CE retail - Europe's leading top executives to gather in Budapest to share best practices

On April 1, it will be my great honor to officially open the 7th TCG Summit and to welcome the top shots of the leading European, national tech retailers and of the global CE brands. Inaugurated in 2014, the summit has grown to become the most valuable international senior executive platform and the think tank in the sector. It is the place for major decision makers and influencers from the electrical retail sector in Europe, the U.S., the Middle East and Asia to share experiences and perspectives, and consider the strategies and tactics they need to secure growth and opportunity in the future.

Thus, basically the whole international CE sector will come together to shape jointly the future of our vibrant but challenging sector.

What will be the conference theme?

The global giants of technology and social communities Alibaba, Amazon, Facebook and others are re-inventing retail, all around the world. The best players in the electrical retail sector are responding, by being bold and agile to secure their success. That’s why we have chosen "BOLD AND AGILE" as the overarching theme 2020.

I believe my team has prepared a compelling program and I am very excited to share some highlights with you:

Attendees will hear from Alibaba, Amazon and Facebook about their global ambitions. They will also hear smart, innovative players in the CE sector describe their strategies to build businesses with customers at their heart, that are sustainable for the long term. And they will consider how to get the maximum opportunity from technologies such as voice and search.

Delegates will discuss the critical importance of talent in an industry increasingly driven by knowledge and data, and how you identify and nurture that talent from all sections of society. We will talk about competition and collaboration, and will be briefed on essential economic and legal developments, including privacy. Delegates will have an opportunity to participate in discussions in the conference room, and to network with your industry peers over dinner or other informal settings.

Where and when will the 2020 edition take place?

The TCG Summit will take place in the beautiful city of Budapest. The venue will be the New York Palace Hotel; a Baroque-style, historic hotel in the heart of the city. The kick-off will be on March 31 at 7pm with an informal welcome reception, followed by two full conference days on April 1 and 2.
