Successful case: replacement of Russian Eurobonds

We are pleased to announce that our clients have successfully completed the procedure of replacing Russian Eurobonds held in foreign accounts, as stipulated by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation № 677 of August 8, 2024.

Upon considering their applications, the National Settlement Depository included them in the register of Russian Eurobonds holders. Those listed in the register had local bonds credited to their accounts in Russia on December 5, 2024.

Thus, the Decree № 677 provided investors with a unique opportunity to regain full access to previously blocked assets.

The security holders that failed to replace Eurobonds in time may receive direct payments on the condition that they submit the relevant applications and supporting documents in full and in a timely manner, i.e. between the 60th and 90th days after another scheduled bond payment, as envisaged by the Presidential Decree № 665 of September 9, 2023.
