Here, Bhagwat explains how he works with all the teams throughout JBR Capital, while also revealing his passion for voluntary work.?
Since joining JBR Capital in September 2021, Bhagwat Shah has led a team tasked with transforming the company’s technology. Asked to join the business by CEO, Nayan Kisnadwala, Bhagwat’s role involves supporting JBR Capital’s teams with their IT needs and requirements.?
The implementation of new software and systems requires a consistent and meticulous process of scoping out the requirements of each project, and Bhagwat has been able to use his many years of experience working in the financial sector to great effect at JBR Capital.?
“Project management is a massively transferrable skill, but JBR Capital is a unique proposition. I have worked in the world of finance before but funding our customers’ passion for supercars is a really interesting challenge. Fundamentally, you still have to understand what the business requires and create a solution for them. Giving them the opportunity to test and feedback helps improve the final product my team delivers. What we deploy benefits our colleagues in JBR and our customers, although the latter will never see what goes on behind the scenes, they will reap the benefits.”?
“It’s through these processes improvements, AI and automation, we help remove the monotony from our colleagues’ roles, reducing the risk of human error and allow them to devote more time to our clients, thus ensuring they receive the service they expect when purchasing their dream car.”?
?You are also a part of the charity committee, how have you made an impact on the community?
?Bhagwat is also a part of another important body at JBR Capital: the charity committee.??
?“I have a passion for voluntary work and the charity committee here at JBR Capital has been a positive force within the wider community of Greater London. One of the standouts for me was the work we did with City Harvest, a charity dedicated to tackling food poverty.??
?“In the past, companies have traditionally supported communities through making donations, whereas nowadays, in addition to that, there is a real desire to get involved and give up our time for others.” Bhagwat explains. “Together with some of my colleagues, I have been able to meet and work with City Harvest’s team and deliver hands-on support, packing food parcels for distribution to those most in need.”?
What do you enjoy most about working at JBR Capital?
