A success story continues: a game engine in the web is now empowering millions of configurations worldwide though native image stream via cloud.

Would you like to make use of your locally rendered content for millions of enthusiasts to configure their dream Audi? In 2017, our colleagues at Audi Netherlands took this opportunity and were the first pushing our Audi-Visualization-Engine Pilot into their market via AWS technology. And as we are aware of this outstanding solution done, together with our technology and content partner, ZeroLight: is a success in every aspect. People spend more time to configure higher equipped cars and enter the dealer more often - dramatically.

So the story started 2017 continuous now (click): Full interactive cloud streamed real-time 3D visualization empowered by Game Engine.

Roll-out 2019

Now after some more months I′m very happy to announce that we are in a full roll-out of this solution. We plan to have more than 30 markets being equipped with our system, known as AVE2WEB. As of today, Europe is conquered. USA has had the e-tron live since the Super Bowl:

More cars to come in US.

All other regions have full access to every configurable car without any limit: Germany, Belgium, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Swiss, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA, Japan, Denmark, Spain, Canada . . .

In 2019 we will also equip: Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Korea, China, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Middle East, Russia . . .

Current Development

The the pilot we launched some month ago is getting more an more mature. Always with the focus to push the boundaries of the current quality to a next level. With the aim to make people love what they see. And catch them.

Dynamic focus with depth of field for Exterior

Exterior cameras dynamically adjust depth of field parameters based on zoom level, creating a cinematic effect.

Interior cameras now have a depth of field feature which dynamically adjusts parameters based on what is central in view, especially on close up inspection.

Wheel Camera and dynamic wheel turn

Updated wheel camera supports greater level of zoom, is centered on the allow and supports new dynamic focus with depth of field.



And many more features including: new interior cameras, improved anti-aliasing, bandwidth reduction for most common browsers.

Next

The Chicago Night environment will offer the ability to turn on dynamic, stylized light trails passing through the scene. 

All cars will offer the ability to demonstrate product correct, model-specific exterior headlights, daytime running lights and indicator functions as an animation sequence within L.A. Vista

~25% increase in the resolution of the 3D stream window, creating a more cinematic, widescreen aspect ratio. 

Updated UI with a visual approach that removes the need for text translation and addresses mobile-specific issues. Due to be trialled first in Canada.
