If you want anything worthwhile to happen in your life, you have be prepared to make the appropriate effort. You have to be prepared to work for what you want, whatever your goal or intentions may be. You cannot pay someone else to do your push ups for you. We all need help, of course. We need encouragement and support but the main effort must come from ourselves. It must be tempting sometimes to wait for others to make things happen for us but that can only lead to disappointment. Take the initiative. Make the effort. Be prepared to fail along the way but be prepared to renew your efforts and make your goal a reality. It can be powerfully reassuring to know that ultimately, the main catalyst for change and improvement in your life is you. Take action. Make the required effort every day and don't give up. Your future and your goals are in your hands. They always were.
