Success is paved with past failures

?Success is like climbing a mountain where each step is paved with the failures of the past.

The successful people of tomorrow are falling today. They get back up, improve, fall again, these are all necessary steps to achieve success. Pushing themselves beyond their perceived limits of their bodies and spirits.

Dr. Martin Luther King said, “If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl. By all means, keep moving forward.”

What is success?

Earl Nightingale, noted radio personality and author said: “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.”

Success is the struggles athletes endure day after day, year after year, and willing to give up so much to become master of their craft.

Success is the agent who spends hours studying, staying up all hours of the night cramming and learning to become a better agent.

Success is a matter of passion, effort, focus, and creativity.

Success is not a competition against others but against our own limitations.

How do we achieve our own success, our own Summit?

The answer is simple but needs effort, perseverance, and resilience.

Sir Edmond Hillary, the New Zealand mountaineer and the first climber (with the help of a Sherpa named Tenzing Norgay) to reach the top of Mt. Everest, said, “It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.”

In life, bad things happen; we all face challenges. Pull yourself up, dust yourself off, and don’t come down with a case of “excuse-itis.” Complaining that things are too hard, too difficult, or too challenging.

Our spirits are unstoppable. From adversity, we learn to embrace the new possibilities that are waiting for us.

It is the defiant human spirit that keeps us resolute in our struggle to achieve greatness!

The greater the challenges the greater the opportunities.

Great leaders have come from places of great chaos.

Mountains will never lower themselves to our level, but we must rise to meet the mountains before us.

How high is your EVEREST? Are you ready to begin your own climb?
