Our customer produces parts of the brake system for the automotive industry. The presses are produced of a korean manufacturer.
The process of the machine was intrasparent. The machine control is an in-house development and doesn't allow any modifications in the direction of data recording.
The approach is to show the process transparently by collecting the necessary data and thus revealing the possibilities of optimizing the machine park.
We collect the following signals 4 temperature sensors, 1 pressure sensors and 4 digital inputs.
The data is send to a master control via OPC/UA.
With the recorded data the customer is able to optimize the process and mapping the process data to the serialized devices for quality purposes.
