Success is Never a Goal, it's a Journey.

I had the pleasure of attending SGH Asia Ltd. 's 15-year anniversary party last weekend and during one of the speeches, one line particularly resonated with me:

"Success is never a goal, it's a journey"

It's absolutely true. I've lived this from growing Tenzing Pacific Services for a decade & I'm about to live it again with Employee Benefits Asia (a brand by Tenzing).

Success does not happen overnight. It happens through repeated actions week-after-week, month-after-month & YOY. It happens by building:

For early stage companies, some advice:

  • Get your foundation right from the beginning, budget for employee benefits from the get go
  • Start small, then expand

No matter the company, size, or stage, don't forget the power of intangible benefits:

  • Remote work opportunities
  • Having leaders, coaches & mentors
  • Company culture
  • HR Software (more on this later)

You can always expand on your employee benefits offering over time, but don't disregard it.

Outside of their compensation package, the first thing you'll probably look at is group health insurance or health insurance for the founders/executives & their families.
