Today I am going to share the way I started seeing and living life. I am still a work in progress. However embracing that mode of living is very liberating and fascinating. I am a very happy person 99.99% of the time because of this paradigm shift.
I remind myself the following until I get to the state of living and breathing those effortlessly:
When we are approaching an opportunity let’s not go from the place of deservingness.
Let’s approach from the place of serving another person.
Let’s go with the mindset that you need to share your gift to the world.
Let’s go with the mindset that your presence will help someone.
Let’s not go from the mindset of being inferior and non equal to the person you are approaching.
Perception of non equality either creates an atmosphere of neediness or arrogance based on whether one considers oneself as inferior or superior.
Soul could care less about being better than anything or anyone else.
In 1962, Ben Sweetland wrote, “The world is full of abundance and opportunity, but far too many people come to the fountain of life with a sieve instead of a tank car… a teaspoon instead of a steam shovel. They expect little and as a result they get little.”
From the thought of non-deservingness people act in a self sabotaging way. They are not ready to receive. Because of this attitude they more often push away the gifts that life offers.
In this world are we stepping up or downplaying and shrinking?
Are we approaching the fountain of possibility with a spoon?
Or are we approaching the fountain of possibility with a truck?
Are we approaching an opportunity with a scarcity mindset?
Or are we approaching an opportunity with an abundant mindset?
If what we are aiming for do not get delivered as per our imagination are we feeling rejected?
Are we staying bed ridden for a long time from that rejection?
If the answer is yes and we want to improve in that area then keep in mind that successful people experience rejection too.
They go from rejection after rejection to get to the “yes”.
How about gamifying the process?
How about looking for more no and more rejection?
In the midst of lot of “no”s there will be “yes”. [Credit: "Go for No" and "Rejection Theory"]
With that consistent approach of outreach to create visibility to share our gift with the world we would see some positive outcome.
People who need to know our existence will be aware of our presence.
Eventually people who need our support will notice us, recognize us and get help from us.
The difference between successful and unsuccessful people is how quickly one is recovering from a “rejection”.
Are we fearful?
Are we constantly complaining about life?
Do we find it hard to be grateful?
“What we seek seeks us.” — Sufi Poet Rumi
If we seek reasons to justify unhappiness then we shall see more reasons to be unhappy.
If we look for reasons to be grateful and happy we shall see more reasons to feel happy and grateful.
It is like focusing a torch light in a dark room.
Where we focus the light we only see that part.
If we focus the light on a beautiful potted plant we shall see the potted plant.
If we focus the light on the garbage bin we shall see the garbage bin.
The choice is ours.
“When you are grateful fear disappears and abundance appears” — Tony Robbins
What would we choose?
Are we avoiding conflict where it is healthy, essential and beneficial?
If we avoid necessary conversation and push it under the carpet then we failed the examination/test in life.
In life the examinations that we “fail” reappear until we learn from it and act differently.
Majority of the people like to avoid conflict.
However productive conflict is a good thing.
Solid ideas can come out of that.
Also in a leadership role we have to be comfortable being uncomfortable.
It is a privilege that we are getting the opportunity to get better from healthy conflict.

An effective leader would see conflict and challenges from that perspective.
See challenges as fun.
See problems as fun opportunities for exploration.
With that shift in perspective world of scarcity would turn into world of abundance.
We do not need to get involved in unnecessary conflict that is unproductive and causes huge drain in energy.
However we cannot be people pleasing persons saying yes to everything either. There needs to be a healthy balance.
Are we stuck in our past and sad in the incessant thought that the future will be the same?
Our “terrible” past will not define our future if we choose not to live in the past all the time.
An event is neither terrible nor good in itself. Our interpretation makes it so.
Let’s clarify that with a relatable example.
A new car in the neighborhood. The car brings joy to the owner. The same car may bring envy to another. The event is the same — “a new car in the neighborhood” but the responses are wildly different. Similarly our past may not be terrible if we change our perspective, if we choose to turn “mess into message”. Our not so smooth experience is like cut or facet on a diamond. The more facets are on a diamond the more beautiful and coveted it is. [Credit: Darren Hardy]
Let’s embrace the present moment wholeheartedly.
Let’s pick an option (desire from the inner genius is the hint) from the infinite possibilities as and when relevant. Our future will be amazing that way.
The word “Appreciate” implies increase. If we work toward success; one success will bring another. Gratitude is appreciation of what we have. That in turns appreciate or increase what is good in our lives. From that place of power (instead of force) our path to achievement gets smooth. Our gratitude works as grease on wheel.
Are we wh asking for change and better life? But then when the change is coming does that make us fearful?
What if a change is not always unsafe?
What if it is a sign that we are alive?
Do you remember the story of multiple streams out of a river?
A guy was on a boat and asking for a change /”better life”.
The oar broke down and strong water took that person to a completely different stream.
Instead of recognizing this help from the Universe towards exciting life that guy became fearful and tried hard to go back to the other stream.
Do not be that guy. As it is a new stream it is unknown. Unknown does not mean unsafe. What if instead of getting frustrated we get fascinated?
Do we think it would be awesome not to have any so called “negative” feeling ever?
What if that feeling is a spiritual GPS?
What if it is an indicator that we drifted from our life purpose?
Using that signal we can course correct.
In that sense it is a gift right?
So we do not need to criticize ourselves for not feeling optimistic all the time.
As long as we are paying attention to our feeling and pivoting to happy state we are good.
As long as we are pivoting and learning to sustain “high vibe or voltage” longer we would see the fun and beauty in life.
With that mode life will feel light and full of vitality instead of heaviness from doom and gloom.
I am sharing optimism with you all. This way of sensing and feeling the world helps me to embrace each day with tremendous amount of love, joy, peace. That “high voltage” being-ness can brings ease (inhibits dis-ease) too.
Does this writing speak to your heart?
Does it resonate with you?
If yes then what would you do differently?
Sending you loving energy. That’s all for today.
