Success
When you follow your dream, it will take a commitment not unlike that of adopting a beloved child. Like a child, you don't give it back. There will, however, come a time when you say to yourself, "This isn't what I thought it would be..". Well, I believe if you have thought about your options for reconstructing and realize where it all started to fall apart, perhaps you can't fix it on your own. Consider hiring all tasks that seem daunting or unwelcome to you. Get a book-keeper if you need one. Paychecks, even one or two, fall into a book-keeper's tasks). Tax time that service will be extremely valuable. Get back into your business by finding and following your original vision. Perhaps it is time to delegate or hire a new person or two. If you are at this growth mark, it doesn't hurt to call in someone who might have more knowledge about many things still new to you. I called in a Consultant. It was so worth my while. I was growing fast. The best advice that still lingers today was the four of us (Two consultants, CPA, and myself) sitting in my first formal personal professional engagement and I heard these words, "It is our job to keep you doing what you do best...". I felt like the weight of my world had just been lifted from me at least 45%. I had new clients calling and I was getting tangled in numbers. I don't do numbers because it is not my genre. I do words. I just want to say that there are ways for you to move forward and it just might be an avenue you couldn't see for the road blocks in your mind. Invest in you future. Find out your value. What do you charge? What do you pay? Who can you trust? How confident are you? I pray you are leaning into the wind and you don't arrive at that point of throwing in the towel, as it is difficult - but, sometimes necessary. When you arrive at a point in your life and you slow down enough to really look back you will actually realize what you have achieved on your own, then your life will be content, possibly happy. I will always pray for your your ability to learn along this road to Success. (I retired two of my companies, not formally, and low and behold those two were more suited to the digital world along with others, KTE). I have a blog. KittysInk.com. I've been the only one hanging out for years, but I've written some great political stuff, comments, and music. Lots of music. It's been my little corner of the world, but you are invited. See what a successful entrepreneur collects in her hours off. God Bless YouTube.com for letting me create such a collection of what is unique to me in my corner. Kitty Kelso
