Success isn't Measured by the Size of Your Bank Account.

Wow!?You have lots of money!?You must be God’s Gift to the world!

?You have followers!!?You’re idolized by minions with over-inflated egos!?You’ve created an army of soulless robots whose only goal in life is to accumulate money and fame!?

Family-schamily.?Ethics-shmethics.?I’m out to gets mine, let’s close some people.?Ya.?Ok.

You must be so proud.

At what point were you told that the value of your life was tied to the watch you just bought?

When did you discover that people should kiss your feet because you drive an over-priced, Italian sports car?

Bragging about your “success” and being marginally associated with famous people must really fulfill your spirit…

Am I the only one who thinks this?

These self-proclaimed “gurus” who flash their money, watches, things, planes, and other material BS all over social media seem to be quite empty humans.

Success in life isn’t measured by the amount of money you have in the bank.

Success in life is measured by how many lives you’ve impacted in a positive way.

Success in life is measured by how proud you made your family, loved ones, and friends.

Success in life is giving more than you receive, without any expectation of return.

When you die, are people going to talk about how much money you have in the bank?

Are they going to eulogize you with a list of all the possessions you managed to buy and all the money you wasted on insignificant purchases?

The “richest” people on the planet don’t care about how much money they have.

It’s their relationships that make them rich.?They’re loved by their families, their friends, their communities, and their colleagues.

It’s their respect for others, their giving souls, their open hearts, and their connection to nature that makes them “rich.”

But you have a $25,000 watch.?We’re all so impressed.

Amen Steve Heroux ★ it’s running rampant all over LinkedIn. Look at my house, look at my cars, look at how empty I am inside :)
