Success has no true friends

There are no friends on the road to Success. Maybe supporters, yes, but truly no friends. It's a dark, rough, hard, cramped and lonely road, with only perseverance, courage, and determination as your loyal travel companions, and then deep faith in God as your guiding light.

That road is laced with exciting distractions. invisible stumbling blocks, inexplicable betrayals, and the infernal crushed hopes. But at the end, after the journey has been completed in victory, the accolades and the friendships would suddenly emerge from the shadows to bask, share (and sometimes even take credit) for the glory of the success.

Jesus himself also alluded to this same fact when he was talking about how difficult it would be for one to enter the Kingdom of God. - Matthew 7:13, 14
