Success Has Challenges Too

I’m writing this up in the clouds having recently been in Okinawa, Japan and the stillness and quiet of that magical place made me think of a very important life lesson to share.
I think productivity, especially in America, has been ingrained to a belief in all of us. We don’t want to waste time sitting in line, or dealing with things that aren’t important. We all want to maximize our time and energy in the best way possible each day.
I used to always take this viewpoint as the ‘right’ one but my trip to Okinawa, Japan reminded me of how this view of optimizing and maximizing isn’t always a good thing.
Take food for example. What happens when you maximize and optimize food? You get McDonalds and we all know that eating McDonalds is terrible for your health.
What happens when you maximize and optimize travel? You get a week-long packed itinerary or cruise ships that are designed to get you everything you need so you don’t need to really travel. (I really don’t want to offend people who like cruise ships, I just want to add the perspective that this is an optimized & maximized way of traveling and that there are other ways to travel slowly where you experience real culture of places). I’ve literally heard people say they need a vacation from their vacation and I’m sure you have too.
Maximizing and optimizing should be efforts you do with your business so you can live a life at your own pace. This trip to Japan has helped me understand the value of moving slowly.
I teach you productivity hacks in making money online. I want you to be productive with the real goal that the money you make allows you to actually slow down not speed up your whole life. Hope that makes sense :)

90 Day Scholarship Update:
Speaking of people who are buying back their time to have the ability to move slow:
Success Has Challenges Too
Recently I had a terrible customer. It’s not normal for a business to say they have terrible customers - but at the end of the day I’m a human.
I have done my best job to be an honest and transparent person when it comes to teaching online business. That transparency which comes across in my content is actually the most common answer why people choose to learn from me vs other flashy gurus.
Recently I had a customer who was trouble from day 1 in one of my groups. We tried SO hard, literally everyone on my team to support this person but she kept being a disruption, and when it came to being disrespectful we had to remove her.
Here is why I’m sharing this. I’ve already received threats from this person that they will ‘expose’ me with claims as: “we use bots in the group, and that I have tried to charge $2,000 for one of my programs”

These claims are wildly unfounded and straight up lies. Nevertheless, this person will flock to Reddit and other places to spread lies online.
Just as there are bad businesses, there are also bad people. People that will say and do anything to you.
To protect yourself it’s good practice to:
I learned this year that for the first time ever I had bad reviews online. Specifically on Reddit. I’ve been creating content for over 10 years so it’s remarkable it took this long.
The thing that frustrates me is that when I reviewed every complaint on Reddit it all was unfounded. 99% of the comments are from people who have never purchased from me.?
The 1% who have complained are unfounded. We tracked down every customer and how we handled each and have supporting documentation and proof we did it the right way.
Sometimes even if you are kind, even if you are honest, even if you do your best, bad people will always take advantage of you.
Ultimately these very rare bad experiences that come with entrepreneurship happen. It doesn’t take away from all the positive experiences that come from it.
I have 1.7M followers total online. That is essentially a small city. If you really think about it, not only do I probably have bad people follow me, I might literally have a serial killer follow me! Seriously just do the math on you know that at 1 out of 1.7M people is probably crazy lol.
The more success you have the more of a target you will have on your back. I feel like I’m still just at the beginning of my journey.
In case you have had a bad experience in your journey I wanted to be transparent in sharing mine! Keep up the good work :)
Ps: I never ask for this but if you have enjoyed my teachings would you mind going on Reddit and leaving a review of your experience. I know if I ask this more the truth will come to light against the bad people who have taken advantage.
