As I take to the skies for my 33rd Delta Air Lines flight in the last 30 days, I am excited about the 4 legs this week has in store!
You see, many would be downtrodden at this pace of travel, but not me and not on this day. My usual solo travel is different today...because seated to my left, looking out the window is my beautiful wife. We are traveling to an event site two days early, to steal away time from our kids, Afterburner and the normal pace of life to spend time alone. Well, alone with Mickey Mouse at Disneyland.
Through times like this, I am reminded that the adventure is not found in achieving our goals, but in the journey to get there. The best memories are not of crossing the finish line, but is the twists and turns along the way. My challenge to you: take time today to live! Make the most of the 86,400 seconds you have today to make a memory you will smile when you look back. Don’t allow yourself to be so caught up in business, school, errands or tasks that you do not raise your head to see the beauty around you and experience the blessing that each new day brings. True #Success has both personal and professional aspects, don’t lose sight of one for the other.
How do you make the most of each day? What hashtags describe your journey?

6 年I have lived much of my adult life with one principle in mind. Never Quit. I was trained to live that in 160th SOAR and embodied our motto, NSDQ, in my civilian work ethic. As the leader of a company, I owe it to my stakeholders, teammates, and suppliers to keep pushing forward no matter what the obstacles. #NeverQuit
