Success and failures... do we really fail?

Reflecting today my 18th anniversary of being in O&G Industry.

Before being engineer.... as a teenager,?due to family financial situation, I used to collect machine scraps on the weekend and sold them during economic downturn in 1998/99/2000 when several factories were closing down.?

I started off as engineer in 2004 with first task to clean tanks, dirt etc. Today I appreciate so much how and where I started even though back then, I thought there could be other options to speed up my growth. But god's plan is better than mine. It is not important how and where you start.....BUT what matter is how you use every opportunity to the best possible outcome.?

As of today, I had spent 14.5 years of working with an organization and another 4+ years on building my own business. I failed twice in attempt to kick off the business many years ago. I also failed to achieve many milestones at work in many years in the past.?

It was definitely a roller coaster of emotions, achievement, bitterness, happiness, dissatisfaction, confusion….AND many cycles of failures before successes..

Let's definite success and failures before we head down further. Definition of success indeed very specific to the nature and circumstances. Success in life could mean many things and I find, pursuit of happiness and being full fledge being as everlasting and timeless.?

Success in achieving something specific is all about meeting our expectation (not someone else) in achieving certain milestone or goals...Well...failures can mean many things too..but it is the opposite of success...

But the point here is do we really fail...? Have we wonder abt this question...? Not getting something done or getting somewhere.....does it mean failure?

Many of us remember our failures...does it matter how many times we fail?....all that matters is whether or not we are awaken/reach realization and march forward. That's all matters...

Of course failure can be sad, painful, at time catastrophic, and devastating. But, is the failure is our enemy? Or how do we respond to the failure is the real enemy? Think deeper one will realize, failure at worse can take away everything from someone except for who we are and our life. So what do we do with our life is entirely in our hand. Hence, the real enemy here is our response to the failure.

So, for those who feel the pain of failures, and going through difficult time in life ,..for those who tried so many times to achieve personnel goals and not able to achieve....don't worry too much abt failures & noise around you...what matter most is your action and reaction.

And at times, when you are redirected from your own direction, it is a good exploration towards finding a beautiful horizon.
