Creating successful habits is an important start towards building success. For example, setting up a?daily reading habit is a good first step. Successful people know how powerful reading can be, that's why they set aside time to read every day. One study found that 88% of the successful participants incorporated at least 30 minutes of reading into their regular routine. Billionaire Warren Buffett would go even further reading hundreds of pages on a daily basis.?
So, what kind of books should you read? What genres will help nurture a successful lifestyle? The good news is that you can read almost anything. Every genre has something different to offer. Educational books will expand your horizons. Self-improvement books will foster a healthier mind while fiction will boost your creativity. Business books, will help you scale your business. So, read whatever sounds the most interesting to you. The more you like what you're reading, the more you'll get out of it. I know it's a little strange, but reading is one powerful habit that you can genuinely have fun with. For most people a successful life is a busy life where you're constantly pursuing new goals and chipping away at different challenges. It’s no surprise that it would be a chaotic lifestyle. No matter how fulfilling it is, it can get a little stressful. Luckily there's a simple and effective way to keep that stress from interfering with your productivity. All you need to do is make time to think for 15 to 20 minutes every day. Just find a place somewhere quiet and comfortable to sit. Get rid of all distractions and think about your life. Some successful people use this quiet time to keep things from slipping through the cracks like their health and their relationships. Others will think to use the time to digest some ideas. If those sound too stressful, then you can try something even simpler. Use your 15 minutes to give your brain a much-needed break. It doesn't really matter which approach you take; any kind of quiet contemplation will help you relax and de-stress. That way you can think clearly for the rest of the day. Number three?is coming up with weekly, daily to-do list or a great way to organize the nitty-gritty aspects of your life. But sometimes those long-term goals get lost in the flood of errands, chores and daily responsibilities. That’s where planning your entire week comes in handy. instead of letting each day fill up with busywork, you can make time to focus on the big picture, as you get in the habit of planning your week, you'll become even better in optimizing your time and creating space to pursue your goals. For example, you might discover your workload is a lot lighter on Thursdays, so you can decide to make Thursdays of each week to get ahead or work on a new project or establish new connections. Networking is one of the hardest things for people to wrap their head around. How do you establish a network? How do you meet people who can help you take your career to the next level??

You might imagine yourself making a dozen lucrative connections, but real networks are built on one relationship at a time. That is all you must worry about each week. Make a habit of meeting someone new. You might start up a conversation with a person in another department or get to know someone you admire at a conference or convention. One person doesn't seem like much on their own but eventually those connections will add up and you'll find yourself with a powerful network at your disposal. Number five is positive re-framing. Optimism is an incredibly valuable skill. It takes a strong mindset to get something good out of a bad situation because most of us get caught up in our negative thoughts. We let them control our narrative, destroy our motivation and stifle our success so the next time you find yourself in rough spots, look for the Silver Lining. No matter how frustrating it seems, focus on one or two positive things you can take away from that experience. With enough practice you'll learn to see the bright side of everything you do. Number six is the need to diversify your goals. Goal setting is a much more complicated routine than most people think.
