Success defined by Emerson

You may have heard numerous different ways to define 'success' but, who could articulate it better than a celebrated lecturer and poet? Ralph Waldo Emerson said something like "to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." Above is a picture of an amazing, successful individual that inspired me to share this thought, as she has accomplished much by focusing on helping other people. I am pleased to help people each week, improve his or her future through education and improving properties that someone will call home.

When we allow ourselves to become mired in uncertainty, doubt, and inaction, we can feel much like the neglected pool in the picture. We are all burdened with challenges and excuses but we are also blessed with talents, skills, abilities, and friends. If you find yourself without direction or would simply like to improve your results, consider reflecting on your passions and pursue helping those around you with the best you have to offer. Greatness or success seldom come from well wishing, but more often from well doing. Enjoy the success you deserve by giving it to someone else.
