How do you define Success?
Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal says Earl Nightingale.
Many people associate success with materialistic things, but success to me, is truly achieved when you live life doing what you love.
"If you are lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you have to find the courage to live it." - John Irving, A prayer for Owen Meany.
So, what will get you success on your Dream Career Journey?
Disidentify from your limiting self!
We are all identified with our self-image, view of the world, specific beliefs, attitudes, feelings, sensations and so on, identifications that change as we go through life!
The things we wanted or believed may be less important now. This is because we no longer attached or want or believe in the same way.
Self-realisation for those who refuse to remain the slaves of their own inner phantasms (figment of the imaginations, Inner critics) or of external influences, who refuse to submit passively to the play of psychological forces which is going on within them, and who are determined to become master of their own lives." - (Roberto Assagioli)
On a deeper level we come to realise that beneath this we are in reality more than the personal self as well, that we are the creator of our life, something we have always been and always will be - beyond all forms of identification.
"We pay far more attention to the higher unconscious and to the development of the transpersonal self." - (Kenneth S?rensen)
(The transpersonal is?a term used to describe experiences and worldviews that extend beyond the personal level of the psyche, and beyond mundane worldly events.)
In one of his letters Psychologist Freud said, "I am interested only in the basement of the human being." We must be interested in the whole building. We try to build an elevator which will allow a person access to every level of his personality. After all, a building with only a basement is very limited. We want to open up the terrace where you can sun-bathe or look at the stars. Our concern is the synthesis of all areas of the personality"
Most of us, focus just of one area of our well-being and leave or ignore the others.
What I would like you to do today is:
In order to connect with the Self you must let go and leave behind all identification and attachments!
We are dominated by everything with which our self becomes identified. We can dominate and control everything from which we dis-identify ourselves. (Roberto Assagioli)
The most fundamental aspect of your humanity is your ability to make choices and stand by those choices, said Victor Frankl
Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms -?to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.
Choosing your own way has at least two key actions:
1.Making decisions about what you want to happen
2. Choosing how you respond to what happens.
When you understand your true potential and self fully you will begin to live a life that makes you happy.
You will attract the right success and live up to your values and ideals.
Who you become is a choice—which only you can make. Albus Dumbledore, the wise wizard from J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books, understood this. “It is our choices, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”
Follow the steps to ensure you are doing everything you need to do to?get the Career you want. Have a system and track your progress to keep you moving forward to your end?goal.
"Pursue the life you truly want—regardless of how “impossible” or difficult it may currently seem to you or those around you. You’ll deal with whatever emotions, lessons, or struggles come along the way. Through your learning and experience, you’ll transform as a person." (Personality isn't Permanent - Benjamin Hardy)

What do you think is impossible for you to accomplish?
The time has come to start your Dream Career Journey to unlock the purpose of your highest potential. The only thing standing in the way of realizing the unlimited possibilities your life holds are limiting beliefs about you and your world.
We are going to become someone. That much is certain. The question is: Who are we going to be? And how specific and intentional will we be in that creation process? The more specific the vision, the more clear the path and the more potent the motivation. We choose our purpose and then we give our whole soul to that purpose. In due time, we will transform.
You’re the one who decides who you become. Not some Hiring Manager, Your Society, Your Family or Some Personality test, and certainly not your past.
So, Who will you choose to be?
When you pursue your dreams and goals intentionally and strategically, defining yourself with a Label such as a certain “type” of person, or giving yourself a specific label, may be a driving factor. For instance, Jeff Goins had always wanted to be a writer, but hadn’t done anything about it. Yet, when he labeled himself as a “writer,” that identification bolstered him to start writing, and, ultimately, he became a successful author. Thus, Jeff was intentional about the label he chose, and that label helped him achieve his goals.
Dr. Benjamin Hardy says: "Your personality should come from your goals. Your goals shouldn’t come from your personality"
What he means to say is we can change our personality to who we want to become, because our personality isn’t permanent. Read more in his book, “Personality Isn’t Permanent”
You are not a single and narrow “type” of person. In different situations and around different people, you are different. Your personality is dynamic, flexible, and contextual. Moreover, your personality changes throughout your life, far more than you can presently imagine.
At different stages and seasons of your life, you’re going to display a different personality
Harvard psychologist Dr. Daniel Gilbert says,?“Human beings are works in progress that mistakenly think they’re finished."
Review and Prioritize:
What went well this month/year?
What are the things I should concentrate on?
What are the things I should improve or learn about?
Change with times:
What do I need to do to be effective?
Compare expectations with results
Whenever you make any key decisions of significance write down the result you anticipate.
Later on, review it with the actual results and note down what went well, your strengths, what you have to learn and what habits you must change. This is the key to continuous learning.
Choose your legacy:
What do you want to be remembered for?
How do you want to make a difference in people's lives around you including your family?
The Outcome:?
?You own your future, know who you want to become and what your Dream Career Path is!
Here's to your Intentional Success!
