Blessed are the meek; for they shall inherit the earth.

It's one of many beatitudes and people often confuse blessed with happy.

Doom spending has been a trend for a few decades now.

"Why did you buy this?", I'd ask my cousin Mark because it was still unopened.

"It makes me feel good", is what he'd usually say as I would open whatever for him to actually examine.

As part of his depression, he would buy something even though he was thousands of dollars in credit card debt - which made it harder and harder to pay his bills.

God doesn't promise you'll be rich and if you don't control your money, it will control you.

You can build success or do the opposite and doom spend.
