It is often said that success comes to those who wait but does it really work for everyone.
The whole universe is struggling to achieve that so called success. For some people, it is just a corner away while others longed to see its glimpse once their life.
The question is why success comes easy for some but others take a lifetime.
I think it’s very much depends on the idea of how success is perceived by us. An adolescent marks its first success by taking his first step despite of many failed attempts and celebrate it with the world through his giggles and laughter.
But as we grow, our idea of success changes. We see success in big achievements rather than accomplishment of short term goals that will eventually lead us to our destination. Unlike a child, we would like to stick to the game plan and fear to take any risk if notice any deviation from the road map. In fact, we forget to celebrate achievement of our milestones in the struggle of reaching our destination though these milestones is what gives us courage to see things beyond horizon and work towards our vision. Most of the people accepts failure as their fate in the start of their journey and sometimes step back when they are about to achieve their long awaited success because of fear of failure.
It is very important to celebrate the day to day achievements to keep oneself on track and live in the moment without losing focus of our long term goals. Consistent efforts towards both our personal and professional goals is what helps us to derive satisfaction in all aspects of our life for everlasting success.
Another thing to ponder upon is never compare your journey with others otherwise you lose track of your own goals and starts focusing on others’ lives. Human beings are unique to each other and so their journeys so what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for other. We need to learn from our failures to make things work for us by making small adjustments to our ways of doing things.
Those who reflect on their mistakes would eventually learn the art of living and soon realize the secret to overcome obstacles that come in their way of success.
