SUBSTANCES OF DESTRUCTION: A RISING CONCERN

I'VE FINISHED writing my first book entitled the Intoxicated Vessel that is aimed at teaching communities especially youths to refrain from abusing illegal and prescription drugs as well as crime. The book focuses on warning this young generation about the effects of the illegal substances on health. These so-called drugs which include marijuana, cough mixtures, and psychiatries that are meant for mentally challenged individuals interfere with critical regions of the brain that are linked to motivation and emotion such that the youths end up drifting away from their educational goals. The Intoxicated Vessel tackles issues to do with corruption and abuse of office by some government officials of most developing countries who traffic the drugs across the region. The girl child is not left out for today there are sweet concoctions that contain the intoxicants eg the marijuana cake that can be used to drug them and risk getting infected by STIs, HIV/AIDS and unplanned pregnancies.
