Subsidiary Spotlight: PQE Group Japan

PQE Group continues to make its global presence and innovations known by expanding through our subsidiaries. With 40 global offices and counting, we are doing an incredible job of creating value for our customers by putting our multidisciplinary teams and knowledge at their service internationally. PQE Group Japan is working to further our mission of contributing to a safer #pharmaceutical environment in #Asia!?
PQE Group #Japan has been serving clients in the Asia-Pacific area and following the Japanese kaizen philosophy, striving for a change for the better or continuous improvement that involves all employees, since its inception in 2017.
My recent trip to #Osaka allowed me to meet with members of our Japan team and immerse myself in the local culture to better understand how we can successfully integrate. Our glocal business approach, referring to “the adaptation of global and international products into the local contexts they're used and sold in,” is one of the reasons for our growing success.
By localizing products and services, we reduce the risk of supply chain disruptions and can better cater our offerings to local customs and desires – boosting value, recognition, and sustainability. In the words of our #PQEGroup Japan General Manager, Andrea Salvadori, “we are an international company with global connections, but we do business with a local approach.”?
As PQE Group’s Head of #Subsidiaries, I’m proud to help enable our regional offices to better serve clients worldwide with the same diligence, excellence, and care regardless of location. The dedication of our fantastic team members allows us to transform the pharmaceutical sector and people's lives worldwide. No matter the cultural backgrounds or experiential differences, we harness our diversity as a team and channel it into one of our most impactful tools. All of our PQE Group employees share a passion for Life Sciences and work towards a common goal, linking all of our subsidiaries around the world with a shared vision.?

Our PQE Group Japan office will celebrate its sixth anniversary this year, which is just one of its many accomplishments. The recognition and success of our team are testaments to how growing into different lifestyles helps cultivate more connective global communities.
As much as we prioritize our expansion, we also make a point to grow closer together as a team. Our Japanese colleagues recently celebrated the Setsubun festival on February 3rd, signaling the start of Spring in the Japanese lunar calendar. The festival aims to drive away evil spirits and welcome good fortune – which is undoubtedly a bit of extra luck anyone could use! I wish our global team a spring filled with good fortune.?
I look forward to delivering on our promise for quality on a larger scale and evolving the Life Sciences sector with our global operations.
