The Subscription Model
Thanks to Mark Gandy , host of CFO Bookshelf, for this fantastic interview on my book, Time’s Up!: The Subscription Business Model for Professional Firms. Be sure to read his incredible notes on the book as well! Thanks, Mark!
I believe performance begins with consciousness. Are you ready to look within and wake up to new possibilities?

1 年Looking forward to the wisdom and nuggets I can borrow from the book Ron!

1 年This book packs a punch! Ron a wonderful call to action for us all. Time's up. Up your game. Ron puts a clear mirror in-front of the reader and very eloquently guides you to look into the future of your business and ask some tough questions: How much value are you creating for your clients? How much profit margin would you like to have? Are you willing to up your game and step out of your comfort zone? The reward: stepping out of the commodity race. I feel that even if the full membership/subscription transformation model is not for everyone, I would still recommend reading the book. It offers a fresh, compelling view point that can spark improvements to your current business.

1 年I watched your Webinar this morning Ron on the subscription business model for law firms. Very intriguing and interesting. I think transformative is the correct adjective for this. Hope you are well.
Publisher and Portfolio CFO
1 年I do want to give a shoutout to L. Gary Boomer. In 2004 at a KC event, he held up three books. I read all three. One of those titles is in my CFO Bookshelf Hall of Fame - The Firm of the Future. I've been following Ron ever since. Here we are about six books later (and I loved Mind Over Matter last year), and his newest title is Time's Up! It's a typical Ron Baker book - lots of thought-provoking content, questions, and far too many to count a-ha moments. This book inspires, it encourages, it educates. One more shoutout ... I hope to meet you, Paul Dunn, in the foreseeable future. Oh yeah, Ron, you rock!!
