Dear Colleagues,

Mathematical models are essential tools for promoting optimal and sustainable agriculture production. Erosion and hydrological models have been largely investigated to provide information for land-use and watershed management and support the action at field scale of land managers and agricultural engineers. However, a further effort is needed for obtaining more reliable and long-term information, taking into consideration the combined effects of the hydrological cycle, erosion and sediment transport, and the impact of climate change. A valuable contribution is expected from the most recent development of geospatial technologies, including GIS and remote sensing. Please share your research findings in this Special Issue. Submissions on (but not limited to) the following topics are invited: 1) mathematical models for sustainable agriculture; 2) soil–water mass balance models; 3) advances in erosion and hydrological models; 4) climate change and water resource management, 5) GIS and remote sensing applications for soil and water conservation.
