Introduction

The All India Sustainable Development Council (AISDC) invites proposals from eligible NGOs, training organizations, and educational institutions in India to collaborate on the development and implementation of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for Digital Marketing in Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Odisha under UNICEF’s Passport to Earning (P2E) initiative.

AISDC is committed to fostering skill development and employability among young people, particularly young women, and seeks implementation partners with expertise in online education, training, and job placement support.

Project Background

Passport to Earning (P2E) is a global initiative by UNICEF and YuWaah that provides young people with essential employability skills through digital learning platforms. Since its inception, P2E has trained over 3.5 million youth in digital and financial literacy.

As part of its expansion, UNICEF-YuWaah is launching an MOOC-based Digital Marketing Training Program to equip youth with job-ready skills and connect them with employment and self-employment opportunities.

Scope of Work & Expected Deliverables

The selected partner(s) will be responsible for:

1. Content Development (MOOC Design & Implementation)

  • Develop an industry-aligned Digital Marketing MOOC covering:Digital Marketing ConceptsWebsite Planning & ConceptualizationSocial Media MarketingSEO & AnalyticsEmail MarketingDigital Advertising & Lead Generation
  • Course duration: 4-5 weeks with weekly content delivery including:Self-learning contentLive facilitator-led sessionsAssessments & quizzes
  • Accreditation: Course must be NCVET-certified or accredited by a relevant body.

2. Learner Mobilization & Enrollment

  • Mobilize & enroll at least 500 young learners (aged 18-29) from Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Odisha.
  • Ensure 70% of enrolled learners complete the course and obtain certification.
  • Target: At least 70% women participants.

3. Placement & Career Support

  • Facilitate job placements, paid apprenticeships, or internships for at least 50% of certified learners.
  • Ensure minimum wages for job placements as per government norms.
  • Minimum internship stipend: ?5,000 (or as per government guidelines).
  • Offer career guidance, networking opportunities, and interview preparation.
  • Provide additional industry-recognized certifications for enhanced employability.

4. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track learner engagement, completion rates, and placement success.
  • Provide weekly reports on learner progress, employer connections, and certification status.
  • Submit final impact assessment report at the end of the project.

Eligibility Criteria for NGOs/Training Partners

Organizations applying must:

  1. Have at least five years of experience in online education, training, and placement support.
  2. Demonstrate experience in MOOC development and delivery with a focus on employability skills.
  3. Have existing college networks, industry partnerships, and digital learning platforms.
  4. Have a proven track record in job placement and internship facilitation.

Proposal Submission Requirements

Interested organizations must submit:

  1. Organization Profile: Highlighting relevant experience, expertise, and past projects.
  2. Technical Proposal: Detailing course development, delivery strategy, learner engagement, and placement approach.
  3. Financial Proposal: Budget breakdown, including content development costs and cost per trained and placed candidate.
  4. Implementation Plan: Including mobilization strategy, target learner numbers, and timeline for rollout.

Project Timeline

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: February 19, 2025
  • Notification of Selection: February 21, 2025
  • Project Start Date: April 1, 2025
  • Project End Date: July 31, 2025
