Our client envisioned an AI-powered platform designed to create and edit images, catering to two key markets:
1. ? Home users seeking a fun way to create personalized pictures in various styles.
2. ? Real estate agents and interior designers needing virtual staging tools to showcase properties with different furniture and decor styles, without physically altering the space.
About the Client
Styley is a new player in the rapidly growing AI image generation market. We discussed our client’s vision and chose to build their own AI models to process image data, positioning their platform for both home and business users as part of their marketing strategy.
The Challenge
Image generation and editing have uses for both home and business users. Traditional image editing is time-consuming and costly. For instance, imagine transforming a selfie into a scene featuring Thor from The Avengers, Jake Sully from Avatar, or Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones—all requiring complex and costly graphic design work.
For business, virtual home staging is extensively used in the real estate, photography, and interior design industries. However, using conventional graphics editing software to remove furniture and redecorate rooms is labor-intensive and costly. A room can be "emptied" and refurnished with furniture within minutes.

AI-powered image generation and editing have changed the industry. Now, users can quickly create custom images—whether it’s turning into Thor, posing as Jake Sully on Pandora, or Daenerys with her dragons—in just minutes, instead of hours. For business users, virtual staging becomes effortless. A room can be "emptied" and refurnished with furniture within minutes.

After extensive discussions, we and the client agreed that building a custom AI image-generation engine was the optimal solution, rather than relying on third-party AI platforms and APIs. This approach provided more control over features and performance while eliminating recurring usage fees.
