While AI has undoubtedly transformed our world, it is essential to recognize its limitations and the potential consequences of its widespread application. This article will examine the 'stupidity' of AI by delving into its drawbacks and highlighting areas where it falls short of human intelligence.

Lack of Common Sense

Despite their prowess in various specialized tasks, AI systems often lack common sense. Humans intuitively understand basic concepts such as cause and effect, object permanence, and gravity, which help us navigate the world with ease. However, AI systems typically lack this innate understanding, relying instead on vast amounts of data to make sense of their environment.

This lack of common sense can lead to AI systems making seemingly 'stupid' decisions or producing bizarre outcomes. Brittle and Inflexible

Ensuring that AI systems respect and support human values is a complex and ongoing challenge that researchers and developers must address.
