Stupid questions to smart creators

‘A Curate’s Egg’ (an expression originating from a 'Punch' magazine cartoon) describes something that is both good and bad in parts. A nice analogy, we thought, for the creative industry, which is full of creativity, but sometimes also full of crap.

I'm excited to announce the launch of a blog with my friend and former colleague Silas Amos. In it, we aim to uncover some plain-speaking wit and wisdom from a diverse collection of illustrators, designers, writers and marketers across the creative industries.

Contributors to date include illustrator Malika Favre, original Madman George Lois, and D&AD chairman Bruce Duckworth. Creative rock stars, creative roadies and everything in-between - we post new stupid questions and new less-stupid answers every Tuesday and Thursday.

If you'd like us to ask you something inane, trivial or irritating, please get in touch. And meantime, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and at www.acuratesegg.com

The site’s identity features illustrations especially produced for the project by artist David Shillinglaw.
