I made one change to SG’s “Iconic Stamps” in my collection.

I replaced the British “Machin” stamps with the Canadian “Bluenose”.

The “Bluenose” is considered Canada’s “finest stamp” and some collectors go so far as to call it the most beautiful stamp ever produced. It is certainly one of my favourites.

It is difficult to define what makes a stamp iconic – whether it be design, the history or its rarity. What I do know is that iconic stamps are always in high demand. There are just so many collectors out there wanting to get their hands on them.
