Express Entry Immigration Medical Requirements

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced that as of July 7, 2022, if you receive an invitation to apply (ITA), an upfront Immigration Medical Examination (IME) is required as part of your application, whether you are in Canada or outside of Canada.

Your family members must also have their IME results, even if they are not coming with you.

Now, for some updates on recent draws...

Saskatchewan

On July 14, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, commonly known as the SINP, invited a total of 627 applicants for permanent residency (PR).

The minimum cut-off score requirement was 69.

The SINP also invited 2 Ukrainians under the Express Entry category with a cut-off score of 66.

This draw invited 40 NOC codes under the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand streams!

British Columbia

The province's PNP invited more than 170 applicants for permanent residency on July 12, 2022, in a general and targeted draw. This also included Tech occupations.

The invitations went to the following categories with a minimum cut-off score (overall) of 60:

? Skilled Worker (includes EEBC option)

? International Graduate

? International Graduate (includes EEBC option)

? Entry Level and Semi-Skilled

? Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option)

? Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level, and Semi-Skilled (includes EEBC option)

Among these categories, the province targeted occupations such as "Tech", "Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 4214)", "Healthcare" and "Healthcare assistants (NOC 3413) ".?
