Let's find out more about applying for higher education in Thailand, student visas, study costs, and scholarships. Although the main language is Thai, almost all universities have adequate English programs, so foreign students can adapt easily. But another reason for their integration with the environment of the country is the beautiful nature here. Due to its geographical location, it has a great interplay of palm forests, pristine white beaches, and mountains. The country of hundred temples is the fourth happiest country in ASEAN. Maybe that's why the Buddhist-dominant country is also known as the 'Land of Smiles'.

What are the most in-demand topics?
Business Studies, Engineering, Food and Beverage Studies, Journalism and Mass Communication, Tourism and Hospitality, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences.
Mode of Application
Generally, the admission process in educational institutions is based on two seasons. One is Autumn, for which applications start from May. After receiving all the applications by July, the admission process starts in August and September.
The second intake of admission is in spring. Admission for this season starts in January. The application period for this is from November to January. March came before classes started.
These intakes are maintained in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. However, this seasonal variation mainly depends on the program. Many programs only take applications for one season.
So the best approach is to contact the university or college officials directly. It's not just about being up-to-date on specific programs. Also known about admissions outside the general intake mentioned above. The official website of the concerned university can be checked for this contact. Admission processes are managed through the Thai University Central Admission System (https://www.mytcas.com/) or the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (https://www.cupt.net/en/).

Post Application Process
It usually takes 1 to 3 working days to verify all the documents after applying. After that, the applicant is given urgent instructions to be done later through e-mail along with the final decision. The application fee is asked to be paid within 10 days. An invoice is then e-mailed for the tuition fee. Study fee invoices are usually provided about two and a half months before the start of the semester. Immediately after paying this fee, the official admission letter (offer letter) is sent from the respective university.
