Study on rare sinonasal adenoid-cystic carcinoma

These carcinomas tend to relapse late, while the solid variant, high-grade transformation and sphenoid sinus involvement were unfavorable features.
Our cohort showed a high prevalence of MYB::NFIB gene fusion, which can also help to confirm diagnosis in cases with unusual morphology (such as the so-called metatypical AdCC).
Many thanks to Tina Mauthe and all those involved for this close and excellent collaboration to study this rare tumor disease.
