Study Abroad? Not Impossible Anymore!
Growing up in North Sumatra, Indonesia and currently in my final year of senior high school, that's me, Fhahira! I have very good friends, surrounded by them I feel very happy, my relationship is going well. Not only that, I grew up and was raised by a supportive family. They always support whatever my decision is and whatever I do in my life, I feel very lucky.
As a final year student in senior high school, it is only natural to think about the future. Maybe go to college or go straight to work. Just like other final year high school students, I also thought about where my future would go. I decided and planned to go to college. One of my plans, I want to go to study abroad. I was hesitant at first but the people around me supported me. So, I decided to try to achieve my dream, which is to go to study abroad.
I realized that to be able to study abroad, English language skills are very necessary. I have to be fluent in English. I think I can speak English well enough, but I'm not sure if my skills are capable enough to be able to study abroad. I talked about my concerns about my English skills to my mentor. My mentor suggested that I improve my English skills with the fondi application. Then, I decided to try fondi.
It turns out, when I used fondi, I felt it was a good fit! As an introvert, I feel comfortable studying on fondi. The avatar and voice chat features allow me to express anything freely without having to show my face. I can explore any topic by talking to other people from various countries. Usually I spend about 1 hour and often visit bars to talk about various topics with various people from all over the world.
After using the fondi application, I feel that studying on fondi is really fun! Surprisingly, my English speaking skills have improved. People in my environment have also become more supportive knowing that my English skills have improved. By often speaking English with people from various countries, it can actually be a simulation for me to study abroad later. With my current skills, I feel capable of being a student at a foreign university. I think, now having a dream or even realizing studying abroad is no longer impossible!
I recommend fondi for those of you who have a dream to study abroad but are still unsure about your English skills! At fondi you will progress well and enjoy learning English!
