In our special edition of Accreditation Times, we are celebrating the year through STUDIUM’s lens. We’ve put in diligent and regular efforts contributing to some major wins, had great celebrations along with our team, and have onboarded stellar mentors that contributed with their insights. From conducting webinars to receiving awards, this edition will cover key milestones in our journey.
As we now usher in the new year, we are filled with hope and renewed vigour in our journey of upgrading the standard of the Indian education system. All the same, we are thankful to everyone involved – including you, our readers – for every such contribution that helps all of us learn more, be more, and do more.

1) STUDIUM raises its pre-seed round of investment
STUDIUM raised its pre-seed round of investment from TiE Pune Angels led by Mr. Shashank Deshpande and Mr. Ashish Goyal.
In a landmark move for STUDIUM, our solution was backed by seasoned entrepreneurs as we raised funds through the pre-seed round. This move bolstered our spirits and encouraged us further!

2) Studium starts working with Premium Brands over the year!
This year, 50+ clients showed their confidence in the STUDIUM solution portfolio. Our product proved its capability across domains, whether in colleges of nursing, of management, or of those in engineering. As you already know, STUDIUM is known for its simplicity in accreditation management. We demonstrated this by saving close to 1000+ faculty hours that would have otherwise been spent in tracking. With this, we also helped complete 20+ accreditation cycles successfully, while raking in 2500+ hours of total platform usage.
We are honored about the trust our patrons place in us and promise to continue simplifying their accreditation management journey!

3) Events galore!
The STUDIUM team attended several events this year. Two prominent ones include the 3rd Summit of Center for Educational Growth and Research event at Delhi and the MIT Ride Event.
CEGR’s event was a gathering of 100 universities from all over India, working together to improve the quality of education in our country. Our design team also attended a UX Lighthouse workshop.
4) Webinar Encore
We believe in the power of education, and our belief extends beyond just philosophy. STUDIUM believes in educating the community!
The AIMS webinar on “Accreditations Made Simpler” saw 300+ attendees, and the webinar with Opex saw 200+ participants, each joining our Founder and CEO Mr. Shubham Purandare as he shared his insights on how simplified processes contribute towards ease of accreditation.

5) Expert Advisors Onboarded
The Power of Mentorship!
STUDIUM was honored to welcome two Advisors onboard. Their wealth of experience and their industry expertise make our solutions more relevant and aligned to the future of our educational trajectory.
Our first onboarded advisor is Dr. Pratima Sheorey who has 27 featured publications in SCOPUS and has presided as Director of SCMHRD. Her vast experience in training, consulting, education, and business makes her a guiding light in the field of education. You can find out more about her engagement with us here.
The next advisor that we onboarded is Dr. Shailesh Kasande who serves as CEO and Group Director of Suryadatta Group of Institutes. A certified Dale Carnegie trainer, Dr. Kasande has conducted 500+ workshops across Maharashtra.
6) 25+ Dynamic team members
Of course, 2023 was a year of growth even for the STUDIUM team within!
From a team of 8 passionate individuals, the team has now grown – no, multiplied! – in size with 25+ capable team members putting their best foot forward. Normally, in a niche as specific as educational accreditation, one would expect a team of industry veterans. That is part of our team’s magic: we are guided by industry veterans and are agile, young, and dynamic folks that believe in leveraging technology to simplify accreditations. Our solutions are just like us: flexible, transparent, and streamlined.
7) Awards Soptlight
We always advocate for simplified accreditations in colleges, and two major recognitions confirmed our credibility in 2023.
Our Founder and CEO, Mr. Shubham Purandare, was awarded “Dynamic Entrepreneur of the Year” through the Pune Udyojak Puraskar on 03rd September 2023 for his efforts in the EdTech space. Ms. Urmila Kanetkar Kothare gave him the award in a ceremony attended by several other promising startups. Learn more about it here.
Further, in December Mr. Shubham was awarded the “Outstanding Achievement Award for Business Excellence” by the All India Achiever’s Foundation by the former Governor of Sikkim and Members of Parliament.
We are honored and humbled about the trust shown in us by these stalwarts and will continue to deliver on our mission!

In closing, 2023 was an eventful year for STUDIUM as we navigated a seemingly complex accreditation landscape and simplified it for our 50+ clients. We look forward to bringing the flavour of accreditations to more institutes in the coming year, bolstering the Indian education system on its journey of educational excellence!
