Studio M Creates Custom Fixture for Historic Bowling Alley

Beloved LA landmark Montrose Bowl has completed its long-anticipated renovation by designer Rivka Baitelman. This historical destination spot and popular Hollywood filming location required a much-needed facelift without losing its original charm. Rivka sought out Studio M Lighting to collaborate on a custom fixture that evokes the classic 1950s soda pop vibe with a modern flair.

For Rivka’s vision of nostalgia, Studio M created custom pendants that are stylishly retro. The dome pendants, finished in a high gloss of bubblegum pink and mint green, were created using a technique of isolated painting so no dust could be present to create unwanted texture. The result is a bold liquid-esq finish with quirky fun, all in honor of Montrose’s history with an eye-catching new look.
