Students use future-oriented innovation frameworks (EcoAction)
Prof. Dr. Bernhard Koelmel

Our students have used interesting frameworks in innovation management to expand their knowledge in a future-oriented way.
One of these framework is:?Design a Better Business!
Using new tools, skills, and mindsets, this framework promises to leverage opportunities for growth in an uncertain and complex "VUCA" world. The tools presented are certainly not all new, but van der Pijl and his co-authors have done an excellent job of putting together the many field-tested tools and their application for a structured approach. In doing so, the double-loop principle succeeds in illustrating the iterative approach in a clear way.
The user receives numerous practical references. A well thought-out and successful presentation of modern tools as well as many inspirations for the necessary mindset.
EIT HEI Initiative -?EcoAction
The EcoAction project receives funding from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), which is part of the Horizon Europe program.?The goal of the project is to strengthen the expertise and role of higher education institutions in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems of their region, for example through peer learning. In practice, the project will directly support the participating regions for the promotion of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. In cooperation with partner universities, good practices are analyzed, and operational models are developed for the interaction between the university and companies.
