A Student's Perspective on the Venture Internship Program.

An Opportunity Unlike Any Other.

The Venture Internship Program has been one of the most impactful experiences as an undergraduate. The people here have a passion for creativity and growth that's rare to find.

"The Venture Intern Program matches talented undergraduate students from the University of Arkansas with startups, entrepreneurship support organizations, and investor networks for semester-long internships and provides training to help them to succeed in ambiguous, fast-paced environments."

The Matchmaking Process

  1. Undergraduates whose applications were accepted will create a preferred list from the participating organizations.
  2. The organizations will decide which students they would like to interview from the applications and preferred lists.
  3. The organizations will offer positions to their preferred candidates until the positions are filled. It is up to the students to accept or decline the offers.

More Than an Internship

Joining the Venture Intern Program gives you access to all of the events hosted by the Office of Entrepreneurship. The Company I Interned With

I had the pleasure of working with Aayush Thakur and Deme Yuan, who founded FR8relay with Akshay Singhin in 2018. During the 14 week program, I worked on various projects that were challenging and rewarding. This internship helped me become more knowledgeable about supply chains and the long-haul trucking industry while broadening my marketing and supply chain management skills.
