These Students Will Give You Optimism For The Future

After a full year of pandemic life, as well as troubling divisiveness all over the world, we all could use a dose of optimism and hope for the future. This Thursday, a group of highly-talented, driven student-entrepreneurs will give you reason to be excited for the next generation.

You can learn these students' incredible stories and visions at BUILDFest National, a live virtual event taking place at 8:30pm ET on March 25th. The event will feature three teams of young entrepreneurs as well as VIP guests like Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary and ThirdLove CEO Heidi Zak.

BUILD is an amazing non-profit that connects self-driven and underserved high school students with the inspiration, skills, and mentorship necessary for success. I currently volunteer on the board of BUILD Boston and support the organization with a portion of the profits from all Elevate sales. I've seen first-hand how the organization helps create a more level playing field of opportunity and equality.

While their annual BUILDFest event is typically held in-person, they've pivoted to an online event, open to the general public for free. In this hour-long event, you will hear stories of resilience and success through the pandemic and remote learning, shared from high schoolers who responded to their world being upended by pivoting to helping others.

Discover how these high school students created digital solutions for their communities in the pandemic and used their entrepreneurial mindset to invent for a world struggling with isolation.
