Students experience monumental transformation during their academic career path which is often a combination of trial and error, learning experiences that alter belief systems and shape personality. Although this time is one visioned to be an adventure, it also comes with a lot of pressure and different stressors. Add to that the stress of meeting academic requirements, and trying to find a group who will accept you for who you are (friends) while finding ways not just to survive financially but also support your future AND stressful side career…students’ mental health is strained. Modern education, within the context of high-pressure competition and over-amped expectations, has left both our teachers and learners feeling anxious — isolated — and burnt out. It's important that we address these mental health problems, so students can not only thrive academically and have a good quality of academic life.

College life is a period of fast academic, social, and personal development while being a source of huge pressure.
