Student Leaders To Take Over Northern Michigan Youth Mental Health Summit

Shortly after I founded We Fight in December of 2021 after four boys I knew took their lives, Ian McGurn, a science teacher at Traverse City's Central High School, conceived a youth mental health summit series for young people - and those who love them.
Nearly two years later, these summits are still going.
Elevate Northern Michigan is a summit series focused on boosting knowledge, shifting attitudes, decreasing stigma, and building support for youth mental health by learning about:
Elevate #5 is set for Wednesday, November 29th at Northwest Michigan College from 1-2:30pm.
And this time, student leaders are taking over.
School-based, student-led, peer-to-peer mental health programs are the gold standard, and we're proud to have three such programs speaking at #5:
Tickets for schools and students are free – registration is required as space is limited.
Tickets for community members are $8 (100% of these proceeds will go to support the presenting student-led groups).
