Student Highlight: Shane Jones

I first met Shane when he was a freshman at Patterson High School when he just moved to California from Arizona. As he walked past my classroom every day I could see he had an interest in what was going on in this class, so I invited him to and gave him a tour of the program.? Over the years we have had some great conversations regarding the trucking industry and what he wants to accomplish in life and I’m so happy he is a part of this year’s class.??

“I first became interested in obtaining my CDL so I could get into the towing business and work alongside my papa.? So far the class has been really fun and engaging, and I am personally enjoying it.? What I'm most looking forward to this year is making as many memories as possible and learning as much as I can about how to drive safely using the driving simulator and how to conduct through pre-trips inspections.”??
